Rebar worker wanted in Denali Borough

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar worker in Denali Borough, Alaska. You will be based on a busy residential building site. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level You will install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
