Great opportunity: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Jackson County, Kansas. On a typical shift you will erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured. Requirements: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules Full-time, day shift.
