Great opportunity: we are hiring a head baker in Eagle County, Colorado. The job is at a neighbourhood confectionery. Requirements: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens Day to day you will grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
