Blocklayer — Madison County

Now hiring: we are hiring a blocklayer in Madison County, Illinois. You will work at a groundworks and structures site. On the job you will handle: • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder Ideal candidate: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
