Vacancy available: we are hiring a stitching operator in Hinds County, Mississippi. You will be based in a textile and apparel unit. Ideal candidate: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Day-to-day duties: • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers Part-time with flexible hours.
