You should have: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • ITI in welder trade or equivalent On the job you will handle: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
