Tig welder — Henry County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tig welder in Henry County, Missouri. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Your main tasks: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding Ideal candidate: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
