Shakeout operator — Ashland County

Now hiring: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Ashland County, Ohio. You will be based at a busy iron foundry. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Day to day you will maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Contact us to fix an interview.
