Precision welder wanted in Armstrong County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a precision welder in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania. You will be based in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Day-to-day duties: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Rotating shifts.
