Bread and bun maker — Richmond County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bread and bun maker in Richmond County, New York. The job is at a cake shop. On a typical shift you will grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer. What we are looking for: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
