Urgent requirement: flatlock machine operator (California)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in San Mateo County, California. You will work in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Your main tasks: • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet Ideal candidate: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
