Laundry presser — Hickman County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a laundry presser in Hickman County, Kentucky. Day-to-day duties: • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing Ideal candidate: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory 5+ years on the tools preferred. $5,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
