Join our team: we are hiring a split AC fitter in Klamath County, Oregon. You will work at a refrigeration and cooling firm. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Own set of hand tools, gauges and flaring kit preferred • Presentable and polite with customers on site Day to day you will recover the refrigerant before dismantling or relocating a unit; insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving; evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum; mount indoor and outdoor split units on wall brackets and level them; commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $24 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends.
