Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Bay County, Michigan. You will be based in a precision engineering workshop. What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T Day-to-day duties: • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
