Now hiring: we are hiring a construction helper in Stafford County, Kansas. The job is on a metro and infrastructure project. The role involves hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate. Requirements: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio Rotating shifts. We offer $11,500 per project plus benefits.
