Milling machine operator wanted in Putnam County

The role involves: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
