Great opportunity: kitchen steward (Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a kitchen steward in City of Harrisonburg, Virginia. The job is at a busy restaurant kitchen. The role involves: • Clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift • Scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies • Help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room • Keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service • Sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations • Mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks You should have: • Keen eye for cleanliness and kitchen hygiene standards • Punctual, reliable and hard-working • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
