Mobile crane operator — South Gloucestershire

Immediate opening: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in South Gloucestershire, England. The role involves hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
