Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bricklayer in Afikpo North, Ebonyi State. Your main tasks: • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish Requirements: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
