Lathe programmer-operator wanted in Grant County

Join our team: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Grant County, Indiana. Your main tasks: • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part What we are looking for: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $4,750 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
