Structural MIG welder — Grady County

Now hiring: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Grady County, Georgia. The job is at a busy production line. Requirements: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium The role involves: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
