Fusing press operator • Allegan County, Michigan

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Allegan County, Michigan. You will work at a garment factory. Your main tasks: • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots Ideal candidate: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $220 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
