Elevator repair technician — Newton County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Newton County, Mississippi. You will work in a residential tower block. On a typical shift you will respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; run load and overload tests with test weights. You should have: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
