Restoration bricklayer — Clinton County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Clinton County, Ohio. You will work at a renovation and extension job. The role involves brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation. You should have: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
