Immediate opening: semi-automatic welder (Abia State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Ukwa West, Abia State. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings You will clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration.
