Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welder in Vermillion County, Indiana. The job is on an industrial construction site. On the job you will handle: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
