Great opportunity: dry lining plasterer (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a dry lining plasterer in Atascosa County, Texas. The job is on a commercial fit-out project. Your main tasks: • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish Full-time with occasional weekends. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
