PVC window assembler • Boone County, Kentucky

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a PVC window assembler in Boone County, Kentucky. The job is on site fitting windows in new-build flats. Day to day you will check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it. What we are looking for: • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
