We are recruiting: backhoe operator (Texas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Childress County, Texas. You will work on a housing development site. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) The role involves: • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
