Single needle operator — Nsit Ubium

We are recruiting: we are hiring a single needle operator in Nsit Ubium, Akwa Ibom State. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. Ideal candidate: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Day-to-day duties: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
