Port container crane operator wanted in Mercer County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Mercer County, Illinois. The job is on a bridge and infrastructure project. What we are looking for: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Understanding of hand and radio signals On a typical shift you will work out the load weight and the lifting radius; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
