Blocklayer wanted in Clayton County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a blocklayer in Clayton County, Iowa. The job is on a commercial construction site. What we are looking for: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks You will building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go.
