Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe operator in Edgar County, Illinois. You will work on a production line. Requirements: • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills Your main tasks: • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
