Mechanical press operator • Vigo County, Indiana

Vacancy available: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Vigo County, Indiana. On the job you will handle: • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges You should have: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses 4+ years on the tools preferred.
