Overhead (EOT) crane operator • Cocke County, Tennessee

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Cocke County, Tennessee. You will be based at a container port and shipping yard. Ideal candidate: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes Day to day you will fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $22 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
