Great opportunity: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Sac County, Iowa. The job is at a busy iron foundry. What we are looking for: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Day-to-day duties: • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
