Panel welder — Norfolk County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a panel welder in Norfolk County, Massachusetts. Day-to-day duties: • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls Requirements: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $3,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
