Plasterer's mate — Franklin County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plasterer's mate in Franklin County, Alabama. You will clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic Full-time with occasional weekends.
