Furnace operator — Jefferson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a furnace operator in Jefferson County, West Virginia. The job is on the moulding line. What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Day-to-day duties: • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture Part-time with flexible hours.
