Crane rigger — Payne County

Join our team: we are hiring a crane rigger in Payne County, Oklahoma. The job is in a steel fabrication yard. On the job you will handle: • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift Requirements: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket We offer $15 per hour plus benefits.
