Now hiring: we are hiring a hand presser in Copiah County, Mississippi. Day to day you will set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots. What we are looking for: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
