Join our team: we are hiring an uPVC welding machine operator in Stewart County, Georgia. You will be based at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. On the job you will handle: • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings Part-time with flexible hours.
