Sample machinist wanted in Montgomery County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sample machinist in Montgomery County, Georgia. Day-to-day duties: • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line What we are looking for: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance 2+ years on the tools preferred.
