Earthmoving plant operator — Caswell County

Now hiring: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Caswell County, North Carolina. The job is at a road-building project. On a typical shift you will work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines. Requirements: • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently Full-time with occasional weekends. $5,000 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
