Press machine operator — Albemarle County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press machine operator in Albemarle County, Virginia. The job is on the press shop floor. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Your main tasks: • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses Full-time, day shift.
