Vacancy available: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Jo Daviess County, Illinois. You will work in a demolition and site-clearance yard. Day to day you will load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble. Ideal candidate: • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs Six days a week, one day off.
