Join our team: we are hiring a head baker in Shelby County, Ohio. You will be based at a café with an on-site bakery. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen Your main tasks: • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter 5+ years on the tools preferred.
