Argon welder • Pendleton County, Kentucky

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Pendleton County, Kentucky. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. Day to day you will clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; carry out 6G pipe welds where required. Requirements: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings 3+ years on the tools preferred.
