Join our team: rebar foreman (Illinois)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar foreman in Hamilton County, Illinois. You will be based on a commercial tower construction site. What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire On a typical shift you will set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
