Sausage maker — O'Brien County

Now hiring: we are hiring a sausage maker in O'Brien County, Iowa. You will work in a supermarket meat department. Day-to-day duties: • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Season and marinate meat on request • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights You should have: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers Pay around $4,300 per month, based on your experience.
